Few of us appreciate producers like Bradley Spalter. While most people care for artists/musicians who’re singing the songs, not very many care for producers. What many folks don’t get is that without the long hours spent by producers and songwriters, these musicians that we now worship are basically nothing. This song helped Bradley Spalter grabbed spot for a Grammy nomination. Although he didn’t win, but this song has put him the center of attention, along with Lambert Waldrip II, Aleese Simmons, and a few others. This R & B hit single premiered in 2004 as the 2nd single for the album. This Spalter-produced song is very catchy due to Christina’s voice and Budden’s rap.
• The Day by Babyface
Babyface is not only a record breaker, but he’s also a songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, a producer for both music and films. What’s also great is that often he worked alongside Bradley Spalter to produce this wonderful, ballad song that speaks about a father who is thankful and blessed for having a son.
It doesn’t require a day or a week to make a song. It will take more than that to make their own a song, unless you only want a half-baked result. But I could tell it wasn’t that way for Bradley Spalter. These three songs and also a dozen others, certainly are a testament to his success and where he is today.
